Just some more sketches.....

Hey all,

Here are some more sketches. Just trying to loosen up, they are in no order, and some of them, are unfinished. Just trying to keep a loose style and work on some things.

This one is a army based design I was working on, its not something I draw often, or ever really. So, I'll be posting more people, tanks, guns and such on here, to show that I can draw them, and thus include into my portfolio and process book for senior project.

And then, there's THIS crazy..champ, wrestler...dude. I honestly don't know where in the hell this came from, I just drew it. DAH! lol.

Also, this one is a sketch of a redesign of Static. I was looking at his comics, and thinking of the character, after hearing about Milestone characters being re-introduced into the DC world. I thought that it would be fun to sketch up. I hope that ICON is re-designed though....his costume is a sign of the times (which was great) but....its 2008...I dunno how I feel about that one, anymore. lol. Great character, though. I love Milestone.

These are some sketches of a character I want to develop, I wanted to based him off of UFC fighter, Quinton Jackson, so, I did. The sketches near the top were NOT successful to me, however the bottom ones, were getting what I wanted. I'm still working on him, he's somewhat of a mentor to the main character for my personal project, and senior project.

Another preliminary character. I'm unsure as to what I should name her, so I've been calling her "Trickshot", in all the file names, lol. She's the gun-toting, femme fatale type to aid our hero. She's cool, and feisty at times. This sketch was really to capture her face, but I knew shes got an aura of elegance and danger, so, I plan to give her a bit of a sleeker, tighter, suit, but also add the fur-like collars, and cuffs to show the more rich side. I am fighting with the idea of her having skates, or maybe something to aid her speed. We'll see.

Did I ever post this? Earlier this summer I started on drawing some SF pages to add to the portfolio, and process book. I havent finished them all yet, but this is the blue page one, that I need to ink still. But, by the time I get back to school...all five pages will be inked.
